The Shape Matters

The shape of our beds resembles an entrance to a burrow. It is normal for the pack leader to show dominance by positioning at the mouth of the burrow controlling access (ever notice dogs lay in front of a door). This is especially true when YOU, the pack leader are gone. Humans on average sleep 7-8 hours a day. Dogs on average sleep 16 hours a day AND sleeping at the entrance of the burrow is common during the day. Your dog is looking for an entrance to a burrow to guard…WE GIVE IT TO THEM
